How big a room can Avant handle?

Avant is rated for rooms up to 440 sq ft.2 How quickly it raises humidity depends on room size, ceiling height, temperature and how dry the air is to start with.

How quiet is it?

It's rated under 36 dB.1 Sound varies with the mist setting, and Sleep mode runs the mist low for the quietest nights.

Does Avant measure or hold a set humidity level?

No. Avant keeps things simple: choose High, Low or Sleep, plus a 2, 4 or 8-hour timer. For precise control, pair it with an inexpensive hygrometer and aim for 30–50% humidity.3

What water should I use?

Distilled or demineralized water is best. Tap water works, but in hard-water areas its minerals can leave a fine white dust and build up as scale.4

How do I keep it clean?

Empty the tank and refill with fresh water every day. Every third day, unplug Avant, empty it, wipe the tank and mist plate with a soft cloth, remove any scale with diluted white vinegar, then rinse well and let it air-dry.4

Can I add essential oils?

Please don't. Avant is designed for water only, so no essential oils, fragrance or additives in the tank.

Can I use the timer in Sleep mode?

The timer and night light work in High and Low modes. Sleep mode runs until you switch it off or the water runs low, when Avant turns itself off.

When will my order arrive?
